ANN GREENWAY's PHOTOGRAPHS (Page 2)

Ann has kindly submitted some interesting pics which her father recorded on an old cine camera, thus the images are not the best quality, but for all you budding historians who appreciated the historical era of Oranjemund, enjoy. Bear in mind this was the early 60's.

Aeroplane Ride at the Mule Derby fashioned by the likes of Dennis Symes.

One can clearly see the oil drum that was used in this state of the art construction.

A Girl Guide and Scout parade going past the Bioscope on 8th Ave.

Enterance to the Community Church. That Christmas tree you see know, is as high as the church tower is today!

A Derby Jocky at the Mule Derby.

The era of the Ann and the hoola hoop and not to mention the era of new fences in our town.
