2011 Super Fifteen

I suppose it won't be long before the only male of the two Cheetah supporters start to write on the "Sports Board" about their team. I better not say too much before Daleen joins in as well

I know Mike has been playing the Super rugby prediction game on the SUPERBRU website as I have been for the last few years. It's a lot of fun.
How about we set up a pool for Oranjemund-onliners only? Anybody interested? It's free, just takes a few minutes to make your predictions for each weekend's games in advance.

I'm playing in 3 other pools as well. You can play in 5 different pools for the super15 rugby tournament. Would be great if there's any more interested, please let us know!
You dont need to be a huge rugby expert to play along.  A friend of mine's wife did very well two years ago and ended up in the top 10 globally - and she knew nothing about the game - she just cheered for the team with the cutest players..... show's you. Well her husband didn't mind, because he got to watch many more games than usual without his wife complaining that he spent too much time in front of the telly - she watched as well, to see how close her scores would be....

I want to add my name for the group as well as a CHEETAH supporter, but can't ....  Ag sis man, the system thing is blocking me ...

Mad rush for Twickers tickets

London - Tickets for the Crusaders' Vodacom Super Rugby match against the Sharks at Twickenham in London next week are selling fast.

According to the allblacks.com website, the Crusaders campaign was disrupted by the February 22 magnitude 6.3 earthquake, with their home ground too severely damaged to host games.

The Christchurch franchise last week asked the English Rugby Football Union (RFU) if they could host the March 26 fixture.

Although the request was initially turned down for logistical reasons, the game was later confirmed for March 27.

It is the first time a Super Rugby match has been played outside SANZAR countries South Africa, Australia and New Zealand.

More than 30 000 tickets were sold in the first 30 hours after they went on sale. A United Ticketmaster spokesperson said it was the strongest response to a rugby match outside an international that he had experienced.

A percentage of each ticket sold will go towards the Christchurch earthquake recovery appeal.

Since the earthquake, the Crusaders have played two home games in Nelson and this weekend are away to the Highlanders in Dunedin.

The Crusaders have a bye in Week 7 and will play their eighth round match on April 9 against the Bulls in Timaru.
