Another wee feelgood story, Awesome to see that a number of the old tar roads around our town are being resurfaced, including the centre of town , log overdue, Kudo's to either the Company or the Town Council!

Hello Michael,

Is someone important coming to visit ? That is usually why places get fixed.

When did they tarmac the road up from Port Nolloth ? It used to be good fun to drive in the mid seventies. The company used to have two salmon pink mercedes, the old ones with little fins down the rear wings (maybe they had the number plates SC 1 and SC 2.) The speedos were still in miles per hour, and you could get them up to 100 mph on the dirt road, just missing the big tortoises stood in the way, stop in Port Nolloth for ostrich biltong and cold coke. then on to Kleinsee. Then the same coming back, but with a six pack of Hansa. that was getting paid for a nice day out.

Best regards,
