What a nice blast from the past. I attended Grade 1 & 2 in OM in 1968 & '69.
My mother, Elizabeth (Betsy) had a ballet studio, and my dad, George, worked for LTA Constuction.

We stayed in no. 9/11 th. street and Francois and Christiaan were my friends. Miss de Waal was my teacher.

What fond memories.

E-mail: lynn18@xtra.co.nz 		How amazing to recognise names from 1965!Sandy Buchanan was my best friend when we lived in First Ave.I still have my maths book from Std.1,full of fractions and marked by Mrs. O Brien.Can still remember Richard Jonker,Theresa Solms,Alan Austin,Andrew and Sean Morrow,being taught ballet by Mrs. Daly,Paddy and Bridget O brien and the million other things that made my childhood so special.

I used to live with in Oranjemund from 1981 to 1984. Around 1983/84 I worked as the secretary to the Principal of the pre-primary school, Naureen Zietsman, and I am wondering whether anybody knows what happened to Naureen. If anybody can let me know her contact no./address I would be grateful.

Former editor of Oranjemund Newsletter from 1983 - 1991. Arrived here in 1998 after a 7yr stint in Mafikeng, Bophuthatswana. Experienced the change of government in 1994. Now there's a story.
