WOW - this is just an awesome website, well-done mate. It was so nice to look through the photos and see so many familiar faces that I had long forgotten......brings back memories. If you have lived in 1 town for 29 years, then there are things that you will never forget, thanks for bringing back some of those old memories. I lived in Oranjemund from 1972 - 2001.....hey there fellow now Aussies...I noticed that there are a few of us here, isn't this just a great place as well!! Hi Mike, like many others I am an old Oranjemunder (1960-2000). I also have quite a few photos of Oranjemund, sport events, work activities etc etc. I see there are still many of the people I know in Oranjemund and many others are all over the world. I bumped into Adrian Robinson and wife(Riana)in Swakopmund... Great site and good to see that Oranjemunders and ex - Oranjemunders keeping in touch. Regards, Eugene

Hello All - I went to Oranjemund in 1954 with my parents and sister. We had a great time in the four years we were there. My father was a mechanic working in the diamond mines. If anybody has got any photo's from around that time I would be very grateful if you could send them to me.
