During the 60's, Bob Molloy wrote a series of articles, covering all walks of life in and around Oranjemund. These articles were published not only locally in Oranjemund, but were published in a number of other leading publications like Algemeine Zeitung, The WIndhoek Advertiser, The Diamond Fields Advertiser, the Cape Times, The Rand Daily Mail and The Argus.

Bob has kindly sent me a number of photocopies of the various articles that were published. Here is a true historical account of the various events of the the mid 60's.

It must be noted that a lot of the material has suffered water damage and in order to be able for the images to be legible, I have not been able to reduce the size of the images..... they are therefore rather large and in their original size!

I have created a few child boards and placed the various articles in the relevant "child" board that is most appropriate..

In Closing, I would just like to thank Bob for sending me the material and especially for being around to write about life in Oranjemund back in the hazy 60's.
