No ways Mike I have been trying to get my telecom 3g device to work with LInux Mint 9 and have given up.

I also have a telecom 3g device but I use it in a 3g router then connect that to the pc with a normal network cable or wireless network.
Stays up 24 hrs a day.
Works well..

Howdy Neighbor...

Gave up way too easily. I'm sure there's a way to get that going without a router. Like I said, you just need to do some research on the net.

Why bother.....buy Windows....Install and it works.....easy!!!!
Download Linux. Feel like a hippy!!!!!!!....and find out you are screwed....
Don't understand me wrong, I like LINUX, if i can get it to work......
