Malcolm and the Affies Photo!

I was just going through a few of the photographs that were in the Oranjemundonline folder when I had to do a double take on this pic, I know where Affies is, and I know that this snap is taken from the hill to the east facing west, but is that a mist bank  over the sea, if you did not know the area, you would think it was a bay of sorts....

Michael! most of the habitat that live in the desert there depend on that mist for their existence. I remember the plants had very shallow roots and if you picked them and squeezed them the moisture from them would keep you from dying of thirst, this was only on the coastal areas. Yes! remember it well working in the wet misty conditions....
