I know the world is full of such cases, we often wonder why these things should be happening at all...... I think when it happens locally it tends to hit home harder...


The young parents are struggling, the mother will have to leave the baby soon in ICU and return to town...... prayers and thoughts.... if you can help, read the poster....

Whats wrong in this world, just heard from a source that the hospital in WHK will be sending mother and child back to Omund, as the funds to keep the baby in the ICU are depleted...... makes one very angry when money is put above a life.....

I believe the baby will be moved to the ICU in Omund now......

Let's hope and pray for the best!

Yes, sad Mike. I hope Windhoek Hospital is aware that they can only transfer a patient if she's stable... funds or no funds!
Wish there was something I could do to help. For now I can only offer my prayers. I really wish them good health and strength.

I am just about to EXPLODE!!!!  What the hell is wrong with the people????    I can almost garuantee if it was one of them, they would get all the assistance need.  I pray that some kind of a miracle will happen for this family!!!!!

Worry about the wellbeing of the baby now and the bills later!!!!  (directed at the hospital and medical fund)

Can NAMDEB not assist them in ANY way???

The world is sick as you say Mike. Money can never buy a life as a life is priceless. Health care should be free to all as it is a Human Right!!! That's always been my opinion. Here are my thoughts and Prayers.

Lord, you love our child as You love all children, Bring healing to our child Caitlin who is not well. Stay by her side and comfort her through this trying time. Keep us ever mindful of Your loving presence Bless us with Your powerful healing and comfort us also.
Thank You for hearing our prayer!


O Lord God, I come to You for help and succor.
You have afflicted my child Caitlin.
Help me to understand that You mean well.
Give me grace to bear my child's affliction with patience and strength.
Bless me, O Father, and restore my child Caitlin to health.
Do not forsake us, but give us an assurance of Your loving Kingdom.
Bless this illness to me and my child Caitlin, and help us both to be better children of Yours because of it.
