Getting High speeds again today..... they have'nt doubled it though.... increased it by 50%

Can anyone view a youtube movie without it buffering....
Could do it 2 months ago but after they connected the new internet cable and increased our speeds things are much worse.  ThatStinks2

Yes Mike A. Thats all thats working fine. Have you tried streaming internet radio or watch something on YouTube? Web sites that worked fine 2 monthes ago, now takes weeks to open. All local content (in Namibia) is fast. But all international content is as fast as snail mail.....

The reason torrents seem fast is because you have a lot of parallel streams, anything relying on a single high stream feed are very slow.
I get 220kBps torrent speed..... I'm definitely still complaining...

Very few people are complaining because they don't expect/know anything better.... they getting screwed and enjoying it.  sorriso2

Looks like the Internet is fixed at last, getting full download speed Now.
After Charles rearranged the furniture at the Teleshop on Monday they got the message that we were not happy.  sorriso2
Apparently there was some software glitch at the Karasberg exchange.

Still some furniture left too move. The speed is not yet constant. Around 8 last night I was back to a third of the speed again.....

It's now...(On a 256k (384k) package.)
Download Speed: 87.7 kbps
Upload Speed: 57.6 kbps

It was...
Download Speed: 305.6 kbps
Upload Speed: 64.21 kbps

Telecom upgraded our Internet hardware last night after much shouting and threatening by Charles Scheepers.
They hope they never see him again...  sorriso2

It seems to working well so far,  I can actually watch a youtube movie with out it buffering.
Downloads are coming down at full speed and speed is steady also.
