Virtual Bar/pub software?

I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a 3d virtual pub/bar software.... not the cheap looking 2nd life type thing, but a decent graphical version, where you can enter a pub online and adopt an avatar and then roam the pub , chatting to other folk around the world, using live chat...... either voice or type.... I looked around and could not find anything...

Now here's my idea.... I reckon there would be a huge demand if some programmer out there designed a virtual pub, with good graphics, allowed people to sign up for a small monthly fee and you get to chat and wander live in that environment.... even have background music...... with today's internet speed, this should'nt be difficult...... then as it grows, you develop an entire street of pubs on the hosting server.... each with a different theme..... blue's pub, Irish pub, karaoke bar, ......

Just a thought, surely somebody out there would have done this by now.... after all , we play virtual 3d games at full pace....
