Durban - Western Province ended their 11-year wait for a major trophy when they were crowned Currie Cup champions on Saturday night with a battling 25-18 victory over the Sharks in Durban.

The club is actually based in Jo'burg, but accepts anybody from around the world. All I need is your name and e-mail address (there are no forms to fill in, no membersip fees and no Bulls supporters)! You will receive stacks of inside info, statistics, chances to purchase Province/Stormers clothing, flags or any paraphernalia pertaining to WP/Stormers, or simply be kept up to date regarding the comings and goings of the team. The database consists of about 2000 at the moment, but Julian (the guy who runs the club) is looking to build on that this season. . If you know of any other supporters, please let me know as well. And if you are in Gauteng on any match day, they get together for the games at their new clubhouse (big screens and braais) and all province supporters are welcome!
