The Yeti obviously had a bad feeling about the weekend - partied on Friday night and was full of enthusiasm and energy at SPAR on Saturday, resplendent in his Cheetahs jersey.  A number of us imagined we'd be invited to a post match braai (and festivities) after the game but the telephone lay silent.  Anybody seen the Yeti today?  (Don't even need batteries for your calculator because 0 + 0 = 0).

Knowing the Yeti on a more of a personal level, I see he was hard at work entertaining customers on the shop floor and was no doubt far too tired to watch the electric television..... such a hard working character needs a break every now and again!

Any  big braais in 6th Avenue last night?  Anyone smell any marinates or see any smoke?  Any Cheetahs flags appearing over any walls of private residences? Such a pity I don't live there anymore as a street party with all our Cheetahs mates would have been good!

Now now Pete, don't rub salt into the poor man's wounds................

Mike - You have no idea of the punishment I took in 6th Avenue!!  Mind you, I wonder if there's any colour left in that Cheetahs jersey of his as it's spent most of the season in the wash?  They sell paper ones at the R5 store so perhaps you could take him a couple on your next visit!
