20 Years Of BEDROCK!!

In celebrating BEDROCK (The Band In The Sand's) 20th anniversary, the band have just released their sixth album which is called 'Sand Circle' in a reference to the Rotorkamm meteorite crater in the southern Namib.  In keeping with their last five albums, all the songs are original compositions written, arranged, recorded and produced by the band's members.  The desert theme will be recognised throughout, as will many references to life in Oranjemund, some fairly subtle, others not!  The album is an eclectic mix of "desert rock" tunes influenced by classic rock, pop, blues, country and folk - and the obligatory instrumental.  The album will be available through www.cdbaby.com, iTunes and www.Amazon.com by the end of this week.  If you're a local and would like a copy, speak to one of the band's members or pick up your copy from your favourite shop, SPAR (next door to TOPS)!! (Just beware the Yeti).
