When I was leaving Oranjemund late November 1973, and was flying to Cape Town for a connection to Joburg then on to London. my travelling companion was Vim, he was on some trip to Cape Town on business or holiday cant really remember, He made my trip a lot easier and had a gret time with him, he waited with me till I made my connection, I never forgot that, how kind a gesture. He gave me a picture and said don't forget me , and I never did.  My condolences to his family, he was a kind and gentle man.
