Thanks for that Leon.

There is a German lady in town, originally from Swakopmund. As a child during the school holiday's, she and her sister could decided to visit grandparents who lived in Kolmanskuppe or family that lived on a farm.

They always chose Kolmanskuppe. This was in the 50's. 

She told me a few tales and reckons that she has a box full of old photographs from her parents era. Nobody wants them , so on one of her return trips from Swakop she will bring them over to me to scan...

Same here. It may be an idea to put all the Kolmanskop stories/threads in a special Kolmanskop Folder/category seeing as Oranjemund was the "offspring" of Kolmanskop.
