Title: Writing on The Tar Roads.
Post by: Michael Alexander on February 13, 2008, 07:50:25 AM
There were two versions of this topic.... as kids we would go and get some of those white crystal chalky type rocks down at the gun club and write all over the tar roads in town....

When we were older and stupid, we would get drunk and on the way home, whilst walking, we would piss on the road, larger circles or writing...this would stain the road for a few weeks.... just another strange memory....

What is it with men and their obsession with 'marking their territory' ... It's not surprising man's best friend is a dog!

If it's too cold, you won't find it to begin with. Georg Jnr, are you speaking from experience?

I remember writing on the tar with the chalk but I also vividly remember on hot, hot days, looking for the little tar bubbles and bursting them.  Some days we went home with our feet covered in tar as it was a real art popping them with your big toe!
