Title: Valentines Day!
Post by: Michael Alexander on February 13, 2008, 07:44:41 PM
So who's doing what? Who's spoiling who...?

I will be honest....maybe because I'm in the retail trade, but before I got married to dear Michele, I stressed the fact in all honesty.... I do not do gardening, actual gardening, I do the watering part, and I do not do Valentines day.... I watched all the other men folk rushing around today like headless chickens buying gifts, that actually had no meaning save for the fact that they are guilt driven into buying the things.........

Why be a Valentine for just one day of the year, and the rest of the time the worst monster on the planet?

No, every day your loved one should be your Valentine and you should treat them that way too.

I personally think it's one of the biggest money making rakets in the world.

I agree with you guys.........Geez if my husband needed an excuse to spoil me; then what a sad day that would be. Some-one as cute as me deserves to be spoiled every day...............

I agree, it should be "valentines day" every day.  One should be able to show the people you care not only on one special day, but every day.  People meaning your friends and loved ones, not only your partners.

HAPPY VALENTINES ALL e154

I had a great  valentine's day, hubby does make me feel special and spoils me throughout the year but on valentines, we do weird things like choclate body paint, private strip shows etc.  Husband spoilt me with perfume and the cutest tiniest teddy. I gave him choclate body paint and all the extra's. I love celebrating all these special ocassions, even if I don't believe in them. We make a fuss of Xmas, Easter, birthdays etc.

This sounds interesting!

Florrie, the reunion is going to be a special occasion and day, so bring the body paint, the tiny teddy (I hope it's the kind of teddy you wear and not carry around), we will bring the drinks and you can have the baby pool all to yourselves while we bomb away in the big pool.  We will not peep  ---  promise!

I can bring the body paint with, if there's any left by then. Stuff is delicious, strawberry flavour. Mike, a little body paint goes a long way. You only paint the  poledancing1 and  boobs.

You're so right Florrie, but...
The kids need shoes, the tap is dripping, the rent, the roof needs mending, the oil for heating.... You have to set priorities in life. This show comes 10 years late...
