In my matric year - 1973 - I remember drawing a Union Jack on the front and back of a white T shirt.
My friends had asked me to smuggle some wine into the teanage dance - I wore an old military great coat.
I remember it was very hot - all had fun coming to me for a dop - at the end of the evening when I got home and took off the great coat and T shirt the Union Jack had transfered itself to my skin!!

Oppie,

I remember that 1973 Union Jack on your T-shirt . . . I think I got more than my share of dops off you . . . I think that was the year I came back from my first year at varsity with moer-of-a-long hair and some dope approached me from behind and asked me for a dance!!

I also remember passing out a few years earlier, only to wake up with a Diamond Detective shining his torch in my eyes . . .

Memories and more . . . eh?

Keith Margetts.

Can any of you remember the themes they used to have at the teenage dance? I remember Hazel and myself, were on the team and we made shadow figures all over the place, it looked groovy. Come on get your thinking caps on...

Funny isn't it.  How exciting the dance was in our holiday, yet not much reminecing.

Oh well maybe its all secret teenage stuff.
