Title: Do your wives snore?
Post by: Florrie van Zyl (Muir) on February 19, 2008, 12:33:59 PM
We went to van der Kloof dam this weekend, not realising there was also a motorbike rally. Needless to say, we got no sleep due to all the loud music and the revving of the motorbikes. My husband woke me up on Friday night because I was  snoring. This after I struggled for hours to fall asleep. On Saturday while trying to ski, I swallowed half the dam, and my husband tore his hamstring. He slept in the back of the F250, because this was more comfortable than the tent. I thought I would get a better sleep due to him not waking me but gave him his cellphone to phone me if he needed me during the night. After hours of trying to fall asleep again, I get woken by the ringing of my cellphone. Stumble out of the tent, worried about hubby. When I get to him he says, turn over, your snoring is keeping half the campsite awake. I said f...ing hell, now you can shit in your pants, I won't be helping you, switched off my cellphone and went back to sleep. Woke with a huge headache probably due to the anger, had to drive the F250 all the way back to Kimberley, towing the boat which is even wider than the F250, on narrow roads. Get home and gastro starts, probably from the dam water I swallowed. Monday, hubby has to have an op on leg, at home now and both feeling better. I have threatened to go for a nose op, to remove a scew bone but at the same time to straighten it (have an upturn nose) and all this hubby has to pay for or else.

I snore like a D9 pushing sand on the mine, but that;s due to my beer and meat problem.... sometimes when the wife is really tired....she makes these little lady snores......

Thats me in trouble now!

Stephen warns the ships at sea, I'm told I don't do to badly myself .  My daughter says it sometime's sounds like we trying to outdo each other, although I do like to believe I make little "Lady Snores"

I believe the one that complains has the problem, not the snorer. My husband has a good snore but I always feel too sorrow to wake him. Unfortunately my husband is a very light sleeper so I constantly get woken up. I think he dislikes the fact that I am sleeping and he can't.
