Hi Diane & Yvete

Just want to let you know that Suna is not doing well at all. She was admitted to Bloemfontein Mediclinic three weeks ago and after being on drip since then, there is no improvement. I speak to her every day and this morning she sounded the worst. The doctors have now changed the treatment and I hope and pray that things will now start improving. She only has 17% lung function.

Will keep you updated on her progress.

I'll do so Diane, I speak to her every morning, but it seems to me as if her condition is getting worse. Sometimes I can hardly make out what she is saying, but she is very brave. I will convey your message.

Hi Diana

I have been through a rough patch, Suna is not well at all, I will be going to Koffiefontein on 11 April for the weekend as I have to wait for my hubby to return from Iraq. Every time my cell phone rings, my hair raises. She is very weak and I can just imagine the strain Edwin has to take. I will however keep you posted as I will be taking my notebook with me.

Keep well and look after yourself.

Hi there Yvete and Diana

A bit of good news, Suna and Eddie will be arriving here in Pretoria next week for a second opinion. The best lung specialist is here at the Pretoria Heart Hospital, I just hope and pray he will be able to make life a bit easier for her. If I had my way they should have been here already. I will keep you posted.

thanks so much for the update. Suna is one of the strongest people I ever met. She has an unbelievable determination to keep going regardless of her illness. I know this must be hard on everyone, will keep you all in my prayers.
