What she means, Mike is - maybe and this is only a very very very big maybe you might get the smell of something that resembles scrambled eggs, but it will also only be after you have scrambled through the doors that lead to the doctors offices where you have to get your tests done, stayed there while the tests were actually done and then ... maybe ? So stop your drooling for something u r not going to have - get on the phone and make that appointment!
:emot112_2:
Well said Dalene! I would hate any of my omelettes to be the cause of Mike's heart attack, like you say perhaps I shouldn't offer him any until he sees a doctor!

Mike - take note: GO TO THE DOCTORS!!!
You must have had some pretty nurses around eh !..... swink
not to mention 2 blood clots removed from lungs each 6-8 inches long..........
Hey Chris; are you sure it wasn't the pretty nurses boobs that gave you heart-attacks 2 through to 8??? And why has the Stormers board turned into you and your nurses............unless they are all Stormers supporters as well??? :emot111:
damn male nurses scarey stuff i tell you thank G-d for the morphine.
Male Nurses - why you lucky, lucky man......... :wow1:

Hiya Sandy - see you are our new man.......... e154 (if you're a little confused - just read under 'Bot attack')
Oops, I think I scared Mike S away!
Come back, I was only joking!
@ Chris .. again .. good to see that you at least stable and now on battery pack .. I recall when fritz went to visit you in hospital he was shocked ,, you looked weak and on the way out .. now on the subject of chest pains .. our good colleague Tony Benette .. Fritz sent him off work cos he was not looking well for a few days .. and told him that he should definitely go see a doctor .. Tony duly did so .. His partner Heather went with him .. guess what the doc did ??? cursory examination and told him that he had bad heartburn .. indeed so it was he left the doctors surgery with heartburn medication , on the trip hom he had his massive heart attack , the car pranged with him at the wheel and poor Heather in the car with him .. ... again we cannot alwayspoint fingers .. men are strange creatures they never tell their doctors the entire truth ,, so sometimes they get misled , but i do believe they should factor this in and do the full exam .. I recall 2 years ago I went down with pneumonia ,, I thought I was just having an asthmatic episode that surfaces evrey so now and again .. meanwhile i was actually drowning and quite delusional .. my new Doc took no shit.. he did the full exam .. me a tough bugger and would have kept on rallying on .. was actually so close to deaths door i did not even know it .. He crapped me out from the heights of heaven for being so stupid and proud and so well typical male ... women on the other hand are far more open and honest with thier medical practicioners .. Maybe Docs should learn to be more Vetinary surgeons with men .. an animal cannot tell the vet what is going on , so they are generaly more thorough .. ??
TAKE NOTE OF THIS ALL PROUD MALES .. THERE ARE ENOUGH WIDOWS AROUND , A GOOD MANY COULD AHVE HAD MANY MORE YEARS WITH THEIR LOVED ONES IF THEY AHD TAKEN HEED ..
Heartburn....yes. My Dad thought and was told he had heartburn? Pain his back as well.
What happened to Mike S this evening? Snooker and Darts must have been calling his name!
quickdop
At least Rhona has a valid excuse as her parents are visiting her this evening and tomorrow.
You scared him away remember -Flowers-presents, his only LITTLE Mike
I told him last night I was joking! Don't think he takes much notice as to what I say anyway!
idontknow
That will be the day..... bling1
If Mike S doesn't show his face soon - people will think he's out to dinner with me............that's how rumours start you know.............Uhm! I swear I didn't see him
hey sandy. hi bud, dont forget about the trumped up way he made me leave??? ......s....er?

Stormers pip Reds

Cape Town - The Stormers ran out 27-24 victors after surviving a late onslaught by the Reds in their Super 14 match played at Newlands, Cape Town on Friday night.
Despite the win, the Stormers would feel hard done by because they missed out on a great chance of securing a bonus-point try, four minutes from the end when their skipper Jean de Villiers dropped the ball after pulling off an interception on his own 22 metre line.
Two instances of good fortune in the first minute helped the Reds to score an unconverted try moments after they kicked off into the Stormers' 22m area.
First, the Stormers were blown up at a ruck and the Reds ran the short-arm penalty right up to the Stormers' posts. The Stormers scrambled a turn-over at a breakdown point but lock Andries Bekker who had ranged up in the backline in the flyhalf position tried to boot into touch but his attempt was charged down by Reds flyhalf Quade Cooper, who followed up to dot down the first five-pointer in the game (5-0).
Three minutes later, the Stormers cancelled out this fortuitous advance with a try by rightwing Tonderai Chavhanga after neat breaks by flyhalf Peter Grant and flanker Duane Vermeulen, who figured among the changes in the starting line-up. Grant's conversion gave the Stormers a lead two-point lead (7-5).
Vermeulen was moved to the flank to accommodate Luke Watson at No 8 while Francois Louw was moved to the substitutes' bench where he took the place of Watson.
The Reds saw off a period of pressure which was channelled mainly down the right flank where winger Sireli Naqelevuki raised hopes with a few threatening runs down the line but the cover defence managed to force him into touch on occasions.
Midway through the first half, the Reds surprised the much more-fancied Stormers with a few sorties into the 22m area where the home side's defence only just managed to thwart two scoring attempts about a metre away from their tryline.
The Stormers were strangely subdued after defending their lead and only came alive again in the 33rd minute when they drove powerfully down the middle with their pack to take play up the Reds tryline.
However, their only reward for this late first-half flurry was a Grant penalty to seal halftime score at 10-5.
There was a far greater sense of urgency about the Stormers' play as the second half got under way and after they worked the ball wide in either direction Bekker dived over in the corner, in the 43rd minute. With Grant's splendid touchline conversion on target, the Stormers opened up a commanding 17-5, which became 20-5 five minutes later when the flyhalf struck with his second penalty in the match.
Stormers skipper Jean de Villiers engineered his side's next try when he split the Reds defence near the halfway line and, after drawing the defence, he sent Naqelevuki clear to dot down close to the posts in the 53rd minute. Grant's conversion sailed through the uprights, much to the acclaim of the 33 000-strong crowd (27-5).
There was plenty for the home crowd to cheer about in the next 10 minutes or so as the Stormers secured turn-over ball which set up breakaway opportunities for Ricky Januarie, Luke Watson and Schalk Brits but they all lacked the speed to reach the tryline.
With the match safely in the bag, the Stormers made several changes around 68th minute mark and with the fresh legs still trying to find their bearing the Reds capitalised to score an unconverted try through their substitute hooker Saia Faingaa (27-10).
All that remained now for the Stormers to do was to score the bonus-point try in the last 12 minutes of play.
In their eagerness to attain that objective they lost their way and never really managed to break out of their half. Instead the Reds surprised with a 73rd minute try through Scott Higginbotham, which Blair Gordon converted (27-17).
Near the end, it seemed as if the Reds were better placed to score the bonus-point try as they succeeded in pinning down the Stormers in their half. Indeed, that's the way it turned out when Van Humphries scored two minutes from the end and with Gordon converting, the Reds secured a second bonus point for losing by less than seven points (27 - 24).
Scorers
Stormers: Tries - Tonderai Chavanga, Andries Bekker, Sireli Naqelevuki. Conversions - Peter Grant (3). Penalties - Grant (2).
Reds: Tries - Quade Cooper, Saia Faingaa, Scott Higgenbotham, Van Humphries. Conversion - Ben Lucas (2)
I don't think so...... you guys almost lost and you gave them a bonus point.... that was the weakest team after the Cheetahs in the tournament... you should have won the game with 14 points to spare....
ape
Yes, Stormers showed some good signs, but really could have done better. I do think they will pick it up though. Early times....
Stormers defence stifles Tahs image041

Cape Town - The Stormers capitalised heavily on limited scoring opportunities and held the Waratahs tryless to run out worthy 27-6 winners.
