Well I am back from my albeit short visit to Ronnie and Mervyn,, It was just so good to reconnect after all these years , as i said i took my much needed break into the country , Villiersdorp is still largely untouched by major development and the lifestyle so much more relaxed .. as said I was at a braai at her one sisters place on friday night ,, Ronnie an I just chatted and lunched on saturday and then I crawled back to my lodgings and slept , a kind of exhausted sleep , much needed .. then we had a quiet dinner at a local and again early to bed .. drove back via tourist trap franschoek on sunday morning , had a home to sort out for the get together after Flo's goodbye tomorrow , wish it could have been longer but it was enough time to reset my mindframe .
Ronnie and Mervyn send good wishes to everybody , I managed to persuade them to pose at their gate and take a pic from a distance ,, I will indeed be going back soon .............By the way I almost kidnapped their latest doggie , a real cutie pie .. ronnie is holding it a part yorkie creature with a fantastic personality ..........
Dammn the pic slipped .. here again
I wonder when Aunty Ronnie plans to change her cars number plate to A CapeTown based one.... idontknow
nice pic!
Too much red tape , trust me it is, and then theres extra tax etc etc , I remember I held out for as long as possible till I was collared by an observant cop who saw me around too much .. I see quite a few luderitz registered cars in my area ( portuguese fishermen ) , or is it holding onto good memories ?? I still got my SC 77 numberplate stashed away ..
