That Oranjemund guy who supports that other non-orange rugby team, who did the Orange-tour with 3 other guys to Bloemfontein, who is known by the name Adriaan van Rooyen  -  he informed me by e-mail.

(He he he  ----   I think he is ever so sorry that he sent me that mail  ------   see, I've gone so far that I'm even going to invade his home in November.)

I had emailed you a few times asking about people i knew from there.....i did eventually stop looking on it as youd stopped up dating it....i also just around that time found the i scatterlings......and i too couldnt believe here was robert bruce....someone like me that had lived in O/M and had all the same childhood memoris i had.....i then told everyone i knew about it like everyone else did......and the rest is history...... cheers mike.....xx

Hi Bev, you and Robert were both on the old site, on the guestbook, I kept all those email addies from the guestbook and when the new site was up, took a chance that the emails were still valid.... I think Bobby was also over on the old site...

The birthday turned into a calm pleasant family afternoon.... not the raging drunken loud brash pole dancing party that I was hoping would transpire.... It dawned apon me..... that we are all parents now.... so there were about 10 kids all over the place, the party became fragmented and it turned into a mellow afternoon..... I have now decided to give up drinking (again!) and have so far gone for two days straight without a tot..... will he make it this time..? I doubt it......

Can you believe Mike had the audacity to tell me he's going to ban me from the site if I don't start posting again sometime soon!

I don't think I really need to tell you all how I found about this site - everywhere! I'm just so glad that Mike eventually stopped just talking about starting a website and actually created o'mundonline. I reckon I should be made an honourary member of this website just for having to put up with listening to Mike, regardless of the fact that I've lived in O'mund for over 26 years!
