One evening us 1st year Appies decided to have a party in Clint's room at the single quarters... his room was kitted out, loud music, mirrors on the ceiling and a set of disco lights.... we had the 3 local girls at the time with us, normal scenario 14 Appies and 3 girls.... all wanting to have a dance in that wee room.... anyhow there were some young studs in town that week, Auditors from JHB.... the local girls were into these guys, not just overall clad diesel mechanics, but real yuppie types in ties...... needless to say they turned up and started to make a move on the local girls...throwing all the right moves...one of them started to slow dance with a girl.... being a drunk a stupid 1st year... i kinda took clints deo and a lighter and set the guy on fire from behind, not realising that they type of wool that his yuppie jersey was made out of was quite flammable.... the last thing I remember was watching a human torch hurtling down past the sportsmans.... needless to say, the out of towners never crashed Clints parties ever again.....
just a memory... shave
okay then, the guy a girl wants around when she justs wanna have fun........
Nope ... just the idiot appie who eventually got fired from the company for being a wee bit too drunk and stupid... Ah! The joys of youth.....
cookin
Did that have to do with a beer bottle and a.............person Michael?
It was an Esprite bottler, strawberry flavour to be precise..... I used to drink mountains of that stuff as an appie.....
You got drunk on that? Would that be like a Breezer type drink?
Yes !!!!! the paties at those single quarters if pnly those walls could talk
:36_2_35: and the code of silence prevails
750ml Esprite were cheap back then, mix them with beer and away you went....
Fruit ale...in a wide range of flavours...
:36_2_35: so it was actually the beer that did it.
Well to put it mildly, at the tender age of 19, I learned that you should'nt mix your drinks, coz it might cost you your job....
:nono1:
And now you are DOUBLE that age; do you have double the sense???

yep thowing bottles at cars is not a wise thing to do
:emot19:
KOOS seems to know something ..what really happened ?? ... and for you girls I remind you of the "coolers' dangerous shit .. cooldrink with a kick .. many a fallen damsel crying in a corner chewing away at the wrists in the absence of a sharp blade ..sick to the core ,, the glamour of the first hour and the heady feeling being replaced by horror of all horrors puke and dronkverdriet .. the one milk based drink was called "happy cow ' well its consequences were another type of cow when drunk without care .......... stick to beer ,, wine or good scotch .. and dont mix .. you normally cannot go wrong ..
I never threw a bottle at a car, but when the bottle did travel through the air...It had er, uhm slipped from my grasp and traveled about 70 metres.....
Well thats proof Koos is definitely an Oranjemunder, he knows too much.
Not forgetting the V.I.P
We all know too much on the 'flying bottle' story - but the code of silence is strong :nono1:
So be it.
