Title: Breakfast Runs to Beavuallon
Post by: Clive Symes on July 22, 2007, 11:27:21 AM
Who remembers the breakfast runs we used to have driving our bikes to places like Beavullon Farm and the Beach, into the richters veld etc. Somewhere I have photos of 20 or more bikes, with us all braaing, VW Combies for backup and beer. Some one out ther must remember these times

Hey Clive,

In regards to the time you are talking about, I don't think that there are many ex-Oranjemunders from before World War I  :o :P

Hi Clive

Yes for sure! We all used to go on these runs. I cannot remember a lot of the people, but Charlie Blakemore for sure.

Keep well

Hi Charmaine, check my email address & drop me a Line, I still remember you making those pancakes.

There were so many of us on those breakfast runs, Charlie Blakemore, Leon Sumpter, Johan Krige, Pierre Spies,to name but a few.

Hi Clive
Glad to hear you are well! I do believe you have met my son - the one with the really strange hairdo at Absa, Tableview.  Do you perhaps know what happened to Debbie Mullins? I remember the two of you were an item for many years but then lost contact when she left Rustenburg Girls High.

Regards
Penny (Worth)

I remember them Clive and also remember when Cindy, my sister, fell off the back of one of the land rovers and had a full body roastie - had nothing of course to do with the amount of beer consumed of course!
