Nigerian Earthquake
An earthquake with the strength of 8.1 on the Richter scale hit Nigeria early this morning.
Two million Nigerians have died and over a million are injured.
The country is totally ruined and the government doesn't know where to start and is asking for help to rebuild. The rest of the world is in shock.
Canada is sending troopers to help the army control the riots.
Saudi Arabia is sending oil. Latin American countries are sending supplies.
The European community (except France) is sending food and money.
The South African government, not to be outdone, is sending two million Nigerians to replace the dead ones.
God Bless Africa!!!! I love this country!!!!!!!!!!

My pracical viewpoint .. With all this human tragedy we see in the world .. if you at times cant laugh , no matter how insensitive it may seem at the time or the situation lifes pain will overwhelm you and.. well you know the rest ..

Hoffentlich kannst du noch Deutsch Carl. Hab manchmal eine lange Leitung. Als Deutscher neigt man wohl dazu, Dinge manchmal zu sehr von der ernsten Seite zu nehmen. Aber klar. Der Witz war gut und jetzt weiss ich dich zu nehem.

Ich war zuerst etwass entauscht um deine komentare auf mein Witz zu sehen. Ich habe dan aber zuruek gedacht an meiner zeit in Deutschland und wuerde errinnert das die Deutschen etwass laenger nehmen um solche art von Witze zu verstehen. In Deutschland wurden meine Sued Afrika Witze auch nicht ueberall akzeptiert.
Ich spreche noch viel Deutsch zuhause mit meine Schwiegereltern und meine Mutter. Leider habe Ich dass lesen und schreiben etwass verlernt. Wir sind in '87 nach Deutschland zuruek gegangen und muessten erstmal ein Sprachkursus mitmachen vor wir in die Schule duerften. Ich war schon durch e-mail mit deim Vater in kontakt and hab mir sein Website angeschaut. Absolut Klasse! Um etwass anders zu seien habe Ich mich in Afrikaans in sein Gaestebuech eingetragen! Kannst du noch Afrikaans sprechen?
