engelssprekend is. Die koster gaan koop toe 'n groot bottel hoesstroop by
:emot19:
I tried, but it's dubbeldutch to me.

George Ruff . I will try and explain the phrase "For Cough " in the dominee joke , by telling another true story ; One of our musicians performed at South Africa house in London . And when he left for home , one RSA fellow bid him goodbye by saying
" Tarra Parra "
To explain : Tarra is slang for Tatta , meaning goodbye . Parra is short for mamparra , and it means to be silly or a bit soft in the head . But a " Parra" is also a frog . When our musician arrived at the Johannesburg airport , an official gave him grieve about his laptop that he had with him . With matters finally settled , he thought about how he can greet the official with "Tarra Parra " but the problem was that the official could not understand Afrikaans , the he suddenly thought of a good translation for the Afrikaans greeting , and as he walked away , he greeted the official in English by saying :- " Frog Off "
George , equipped with this knowledge , say "For Cough" fast enough , and it will sound more or less the same as " Frog Off "
