(ouch! can't roll around laughing too much, my backs in its moer again)
Eina Paula,
What happened? Fell off a new flying machine, too much table dancing, ....
ha ha
No, having kids is what did my back in. I was hanging up washing this time, the last time it popped I sneezed, so it pops out pretty much when it wants too. I had to laugh, We phone the after hours nurse to see what we should do as there was no way I was going to be moved, guess what the advise was......................
"not to wear high heel shoes while my back is in its moer"
I tell you, high heel shoes where the last thing on my mind, (I don't even wear high heel) I wanted drugs and lots of it!!
Julie and I had to laugh anyway about the advise. Next time I'll call the ambulance out.
idontknow
So there is no witch-43 or discodance pole-small for a while, only chocolate-51 and msn emoticon (9) got new glasses so I'll be able to see, my arms were getting to short for me to be able to read!

Take it easy, Paula. Nothing like rest. The problem often isn't the back being "out", but the reaction of the muscles when it happens. The muscles goes into a spasm, trying to prevent the "out" area to move - that's where the most pain comes from.
I know how you feel - a back or neck acting up is really the pits. I had the same problem, but fortunately no problems for the last year. I found this wonderful woman in Durbanville whom I visit at least once every month for treatment to prevent my back/neck from acting up. She is a "Directed Pressure Point Release Practitioner" - AND SHE'S MY HERO! I get no spasms anymore. Mine also happened sometimes with a simple sneeze, or when I washed my hair while in the shower - so easy. And you can probably think how difficult it must be to work as a dentist with a back/neck spasm!
Good luck!

Bertie, I suggest that one is extra carefull when stating,
"I found this wonderful woman in Durbanville whom I visit at least once every month" especially being a "Directed Pressure Point Release Practitioner" laughpoint laughpoint
I do however hnow the feeling when one's back is out, I've had it so bad that at times I can only roll out of bed and crawl to the cupboard or door to pull myself up. At the moment I an suffering with twinges as a result of digging the back garden over, so id your Practitioner will accept patients drop me a contact number on a pvt mail, I would appreciate it.
image201 Yes, Clive, I should be careful and read my posts better!
Her name is Hetsie Otto, and I'll PM you her telephone number now.
