Well, i am back, well er... the family is back....... and phew.... you Capetonians can keep your malls.... way too many people for my liking...although the tourist side of things was awesome...will post some pics later on... Thanks to GeorgSwa for babysitting, Jnr for keeping the coal on the fire, Koos for coming out the closet and Rhona for keeping an eye on the bar, which I have yet to count stock on..... :emot112: In all honesty to all you stalwarts out there... I missed the forum and your banter..... and am happy to be back in one piece...will be online.... later after 19h00 when it's cheaper to be online here.... and guess what..... I'm gonna braai..... yep... I missed the braai and beer.....

In all honesty... Michele and I are both happy to be back...nice house, nice neighbours and besides the long hours at Spar..we have no boss to report to..... so we are very happy 2 be back here..... and the beer tastes awesome.....
Oooops Sorry Sandy.... I mentioned to Michele as we drove into town.... sand turning to emerald green...that this was the greenest piece of land we had seen during the last 700km..... in fact it looked greener than Hout bay on Sunday.... the tate' was changing the sprayers as we drove in ...the thin silver mist of the spray drifting across the road, whilst further down on the curve , two others cut down dead limbs of the tree's.......

I went out for drinks with my dad and our old domestic who arrived at CDM in 1977 and retired yesterday..... we were recounting all the things that happened down at E7-1st ave back in the 70's and 80's.... great guy and it was good for my father to see him before he left...his words were.."My hart, hy voel nou goed dat ek vir oupa gesien voor ek weg gaan....

Thats one thing about OM that I miss, the domestics. The one we had would have given up his life for us. He's probably retired by now, as he was already in his mid 50's when we left.
