I was going more along the lines if one failed..........Even though that paragliding looks superb - I think I'd be a tiny bit scared

Mike S is the pro in that sport, the nutter that he is, jumping of mountains with a piece of cloth hovering above his head.... speak to him...next time you guys come to CPT, I'm sure he can organise something, I'll come with, just to get the pleasure of pushing you off a cliff........   pls      laughpoint    giverose

Sure thing ... put my name down for my next trip to SA ... I'd love to do it! I did it once in the French Alps. It was absolutely awesome. Took off on skis, flew over the snow covered mountains and pine trees and then landed on the skis (no, not on my  arse). So peaceful up there!

Once again - I hang my head in shame.............I was at a wedding yesterday; and all I can say if ye ever have the pleasure of experiencing an irish wedding, ye'd fully understand. I'm sorry for logging on when I came home - I should have headed straight to bed.........

Mike S - your paragliding looks fantastic and I see that by merely clicking on the second picture and enlarging it, you were not stollen - you are right, I am looser!!! If you took my post up as an insult - once again, I apogise  giverose

sorry cant have one, not allowed to drink and fly. we do/can carry parachutes, but not me, never had money to buy one

I also para glided when on holiday at Sun City about 10 years ago.  Not a very safe feeling gliding over the dam/river with crocodiles clearly visible - that's when you start wondering if it would help if you blow up into the parachute to make it float sideways!!!!

This is not the type of glider you tow behind a  boat.........we launch off mountain tops.

Great fun though. Also done that at Stellenbosch.
