Holding a meeting 10 years ago was simply a boring ritual of creating an Agenda and inviting attendees to go to the boardroom and once everyone was in attendance, they could begin the roleplay in a monotone!
Then along came a great gimmick - conference calling, which meant the manager in Sri Lanka now had no excuse to not participate in the weekly review.
Then the video conference meeting came along and this upped the power dressing and grooming stakes. But even now this is so last year.
Until today when hologram meetings on stage bring together participants from as far away as India and USA onto a stage right there in front of you. Go and take a looksee at the video of CISCO's last meeting! It absolutely knocked my socks off and nog al 'n Suid Afrikaner is daar on the blerry stage too!

It must cost a fortune.
But put alongside the cost of a couple of Business Class tickets to Bangalore - suddenly the cost efficiencies start clocking up versus the cost of flying there with accommodation bills for two!
:emot19: Somehow I knew you were going to say that.
