Well they arrived on a wind swept afternoon here in the Namib, sand blowing everywhere.... I believe they went out to see our wreck.... I will hear more about the trip today and let you all know how it went....
I'm interested Mike...
Ok.... feedback.... They came from various countries, including the UK, Belgium, Finland and France. They were not here representing their specific country but rather the EU as a whole, they were on a general familiarization visit and did not get to visit the wreck...due to the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture placing a total ban on the site, until the experts get here.... I believe one of the Fiinnish delegates was fluent in Oshiwambo.........
I was wondering why nothing is being said in the papers and on the news about this (our wreck). I would have thought it would have been of world interest and that something would have leaked out by now.
The entire wrecksite has been covered with sand, so no chance of anything happening I guess!
In the original "Ship-wreck" topic news and papers were refered to Diana.
I know, I just that I would hear about it on the T.V. and radio. We had a tiny write in our papers here.
