Yes, indeed it is.... today that roof / spiral is gone, I think sometime in the 70's a cement square bell thingy was built to replace it....the question needs to be asked of you older folk, why was it removed? what was it made from? where did it go to?

The church must have been built much earlier - I was baptized there.  I also have wedding photo's which I'm sure was taken before the 70's.

I remember in the 70's the church was modified, opposite the school, yes.... I think that was when they shanged it's tower...but I do not know when the church was built or what it looked like before the modification......

The old NG church was enlarged , somewhere around 1976 .. 1977 . The old steeple was removed in one piece by a crane and thrown on the dump south of the then town gerage
