click ont the link and you should get the into the chat room and just start chatting with whoever is logged in
When I got to the room the 2 Mikes were there. so I thzink if you're on your own, then you're just on your own. You don't need any groups. This must be "our" chatroom.
I had the same problem as Diana, and gave up in the end. Tried several different names and passwords, but got failure messages all the time. Either "bad letters", "too long", or "too short". Will try again later today.
Sorry, I went to bed, after having a fight with my PC, your browser might try and prevent the chat window from opening... I will be tinkering with this again today sometime and will let you all know whats going on...
If you write something i the bottom left rectangle , press enter. You'll see your entry in the actual chat window. Press on your name and you can change it....

@ Mike: The way i see it, its an open to all chat box, methinks not what you want. There is other chat boxes available that could go as a permanent box just for us O-munders
I agree Georg, the problem is, the "mods" available to enable live chat for the forum, all work on the latest version of the forum software, and it is quite an effort to upgrade the forum at this stage..... I will have a bit more free time this afternoon, will play around then....

All my Internet Options are set to allow direct X
So if my PC has problems many others will also have it

I keep on saying that since yesterday, but no usable info. Your info is the first one i get
To Put a picture on the board :
First press the print button
Now the PC stores a tempory file
i open my Picture programm and paste the temp files picture
Now i save the new picture
That picture can be uploaded directly in a reply by pressing additional options
I do it differnt
Upload the picture to photobucket or imageshack
Get the code and fit it in to the reply

MIKE there is a lot of gobbeldigook on this one.
Maybe you guys need an update on flash player. That's what my server won't do. Probably the reason it's not working here. And then... Whatr do we need flash player for chats???
I figured this out... 2 things prevent this from working, your firewall must allow the application to work and you must first vlear your browsers cache.... Michele had the problem, so i did the above things and we connected...
Such a clever boytjie! But now everyone else has left!
And my internet connection seems really slow!
Aaagh! Well it was nice to play around with, but I agree with Georg, it will cause too much problems, so we will just communicate the old fashioned way..... cheers!
