Title: Leon Varley
Post by: Michael Alexander on July 08, 2008, 11:03:26 AM
Shirley Thornton sent me the following email....

"Someone has asked me to find out how to get hold of Leon Varley's family.  He married Maggie Williamson, daughter of Graham.  Can you help?"

Thanks

Hi Mike,

Leon is presently running around in the bush somewhere near Vic Falls in Zimboland. He says he needs to know a little more about who is looking for him, as he says, and I quote; "when I left Oranjemund I owed so many people money that I've changed my name twice and had a face-lift to remain anonymous! Furthermore with the interest and the exchange rate, if I had to repay them in Zim dollars they would have to bring a steamship down the river to collect the debt." However, should the person looking for him be an honourable decent "friend" he would be quite amenable to start corresponding on your outstanding site. So the ball is in your court..........
Regards, Rick Barron.
