hi - I'm so bored. I work in an IT Company. I'm so bored today, the schools here are closed for the holidays. Monday and Tuesday are holidays over here so everyone is on a go slow. There is nathing to do - the weather is rubbish, sky is black we are just sitting about drinking tea and waiting on the rain, then complaining about the weather. Please please someone talk to me giverose sobored
Not the same case here - quite the opposite, Claire. School holiday means families come in together, and you never know before-hand how much time to keep open for them. Between 25-30 patients a day now, from 7 am to 7 pm. Have to go again, stay on the forum, at least there's always something happening here!!!!

Hi there Claire - sorry to hear you are so bored! There is nothing worse than hanging around at work waiting for something to happen when you know there are 101 things at home that you could be doing! I much prefer to be busy as the day goes by so much quicker and you stay motivated to keep busy!
We are waiting on our truck to arrive, luckily they email us most of the invoices the day before so we can work through them before the truck arrives and my statements get faxed through to me on a Monday morning with the originals arriving with the truck, basically it is then just a case of putting everything together and following up on any queries. We were actually wondering whether our truck would be coming due to the heavy rains that had fallen in Cape Town, it sounds like the sun is now out and everything can start drying up.
Oops - phone is ringing, gotto go!
Hi Bertie
I know you have Probably told everyone already - but Where are you in the world. What do you do? sorry I sound like a nosey person - Cause I am hehehehe 3d smiles(281)
@ Claire - I'm in Kuilsriver outside Cape Town, Dentist and opening new medical herbal practice (Phytotherapist) in 2-3 months. And you?
Sorry, can't chat now. Glad to see Michele kept you company. Hope some more people show up to keep you company!

I work in Newtownabbey, Just outside Belfast , Northern Ireland. I live in Crumlin - a small village on the other side of Belfast.
Crumlin population is about 6000, Smaller than O-Mund, I love it. Really good place to bring up kids.
The office I work in open plan office with about 500 people - it used to be an old warehouse that they converted into an office.
no dividers just groups of 4 people at a time - in one very large office. There are windows at the front of the building and windows at the back. And only for me being a smoker I don't think I would see daylight at all. Not a very healthy working enviroment. If one person sneezes then we all get the cold. It gets a noisy at times, no escaping the boss either - he can see you no matter where you go. yellocard
Me also just winding everything up today - just finished an 11 week round of 51 Club for round no. 21 in my Gold Bar Awards. Started to line up files to start my round no. 22 week 1 for next week - have to complete that before I go to the reunion - lucky there is still 11 weeks left before then.
But not feeling much like work or phoning clients - even gave my secretary off for today. Cold here and wind blowing, but no rain. Mercia just brought me some tea - lucky this time with no sugar in it. For some funny reason, she has the habbit of putting half a teaspoon of sugar into my tea on Thursday afternoons - and I never drink it, for I do not like sweet tea.
Thought I might go to my hairdresser today - SORRY, I'M FULLY BOOKED - so much for that!
I am off work all of next week - just to spend some time with the kids. Can't wait....might go swimming or go for a picnic, Weather permitting of course. Or go for a drive along the coast road and get fish and chips at the seaside.

Wow! Sounds great. The hotel was very popular for weddings.
I've checked it in google, yes it's changed. The security "box" seems to be gone.
