I have movies of the late Iggy taken around 1970's and would like to send a DVD to his family. Any contacts. His wife was Pat - nee Cummings?
I visited Pat in 1983 and 1986
She lived in C-Town. I think she is married again.
Iggi was a buddy of mine, we played clarinet together in a group.
Son Mark was a Pal of my eldest son Georg

Hi Georg
Same Georg that was an electrician or forman on the #2 plant construction?? I recall a G Ruf in the days of Les Duddy. Early 1970's. Iggy loved his jazz and we spent many hours listening to his music and braaing.

Hi John
I have just found this website and was amazed to see you looking for my dad. I remember you and Leila well - have karate photos of you and my dad training. Mark and I live in Cape Town and Carl is in Joburg. My mom remarried and emmigrated back to the UK. She was here for a short break a couple of weeks ago. I am sure she would love to hear from you too - I will pass your details on to her once she is connected to the internet (shortly).
I have very few photographs of the old days - most lost with all the moves my mom made. I do however have his musical instruments and Mark has all his karate gear. Mark and I have both inherited my dad's love of jazz. I recently started piano lessons though I can't say that I have inherited the jenes for playing anything other than the fool!
Trust this note finds you well and hope to hear from you soon.
Regards
Cheryl

Nice to see Iggys face after so many years again.
I have very strong memories of him when visiting his kids in the 70s. I also remember his strugle before he passed away. Very hard time for his family.
