Just heard from our regular housesitter, that she was meant to be leaving at the end of the month for Swakopmund, forever, but has to wait a week longer, as there is not enough transport removals as there are none families leaving Omund for Swakop on the same weekend....
"FOr the times are a changing!"... so those of you who still want to see Omund before everones gone, hurry to the reunion, at Least Alfie, Andrew , Nada and the Alexanders arfe still here..... image071 23_146_26

Always good to see a man that knows his place image19
Is this something like ten green bottles???
Ther's a thought, Mike, be sure to give us a count down on the last ten expats to leave???
Perhaps Mike needs to start a new list for people who plan on staying on in Oranjemund - at this stage it seems that everyday we hear of more and more people leaving!
First on the list would be:
Mike and Michele Alexander
any more people wishing to stay feel free to add your names to the list!

Hey Cynthia, Have you started your new job yet?
Is E10/11 unoccupied yet? Is it? Is it? Is it?
When can I move in? Can I? Can I? Can I? msn emoticon (12)

Thanx Mike, I owe you one. I wonder if my "Karee" tree is still in the front garden. I had an amazing tree house in there which my dad built. More like a platform, but it was very sturdy and I could rig my tent up on it - even slept in there a few nights with friends. There also was a Norfolk Pine in the front, which was planted when I was born. Probably not, but I'll come and have a look as soon as I get the chance!
I'll take a drive past there... see what those folk are doing to your garden.... image14
