Ok.... this is a 2006 pic, a newer Oranjemund (area) bar, which one? (Excuse the CHeetah Supporter blocking the view!)

Diabolical bar at the end of the rec club hall .. Ronnie Emery and i were Oom Jans favourites for working there .. it was cramped and fridge space was limited .. I remember the one night .. a Bierfest .. 500 plus people .. drunk thirsty full of shit .. we had a system whereby the tatties would have to store beer in other fridges , as we saw certain brands running low .. we would shout and they would run .. fetch more .. we would load fridges .. It was a miracle of mutitasking .. serving keeping eye .. no fancy tills .. we had to add in our heads as we were pouring .. hectic shyt .. but the service the two of us gave got us good tips .. some nights ..people 5 deep all demanding drinks .. remembering who was there first .. Ronnie You were a star and a true trooper alongside me ...

Nope.... I have to be honest that this bar is more than likely only about 11 years old.... but the old one was in the same building and was there for about 25 odd years...

Luckily I'm not one of those wives who has to question where her husband was and what he did after he's been out! It's just comical to watch in the morning when he downloads the photo's and then says - oh, I don't remember going there!

No clue where this bar is but I SEE FREDDIE AHRENS - HOWZIT FREDDIE OLD FRIEND........remember our jaunts downs to McDougs - you, Louise, me, Mark Swanepoel, Natasha........aah, awesum memories. Freddie was always the older one in the group who bought us drinks in Sporties while we parked off in The Lounge and drove us around town.......

Yeah. I was kinda o young at that time. My party-ime started in Germany. We'd go to the pub after school on saturdays for a bier or two waiting for the train. At the age of 14, 15!!
Those times have changed. You won't even get fags under 18 nowadays.
Well done BArbs... Bowling Club bar... Here's Bar No 4, this one is tricky.... but this bar has been there for almost 30 years.....
I'm taking a guess but by the look of the customers, is it the soccer club?
Nope..... those customers are not regulars.... not by a mile, the place was used for a Spar Staff Xmas party about 3 years back.....
Hahahah... this is a tough one, must say that I have only been to this bar, I think, 3 times in all the years that I have lived in Oranjemund

Well done, that is Oranjemund's most secluded bar, called Inn on the Square! , the pub down at Optima Lodge, for those that have not been there before, this pub has a tremendous lot of history, with a lot of signatures from ex Freemasons from all Over Namibia, South Africa and even a few from overseas on a large wall in the bar.....
About 6 years back we hosted a karaoke night there, the place was packed, shoulder to shoulder, kinda like a scene from Coyote Ugly....

Hey Mike, please use other spots too as some of us were too young when we left Oranjemund to have experienced those 'satanic' places ... yes, I think I've been living with the Arabs too long ... pub crawling is for devils ... Vamp Vamp
