Eddie popped into Spar and gave me these pics from his Appie Years..... He will put names to faces later...... Thanks Eddie!

Ha Ha ..  I was then a senior appie ... pic one I recognise  rear view me in striped t shirt and  Andries Strydom in white golf shirt  pic 4  Joe Brooks onleft ..
Pic 5 Rainer Siebers and Jeff Quinton having their hair cut ,,  Photo 7 Giel Huyshamen  and of course scattered throughout the Heusdens bros .. will look again  later ..

Kubirske is the correct spelling. Hope to see you all around 10 January 2009. Will be a shock to see Oranjemund after 21 years, but I am prepared for it.

You guys must have known Mister John Irish who lectured at the tech.
He left Oranjemund and joined Westlake Technical College in Tokai, Cape Town.

John retired from Westlake in the early 1990's, and passed away after a massive heart attack.

just for interest sake . Eddie whose car was the Chrysler model ?  - I add a pic of a De Soto - also from the Chrysler stable - it looks very similar
take a look at the opening of the sorthouse 4 plant . look at the car in front . Whos car was this [ I Think a 1958 Plymouth ]
