On the 7 o'clock news .. the constitutional court turned down old cant keep his c...k in his zipper and hands out of others pockets Jacob Zuma's attempt to have the actions of the scorppions declared unconstituional .. I am very very happy .. that man and his illeterate and brainless crowd of supporters are a danger to manknd at large .. I dearest hope is that his court case which starts on the 4th finds him indeed guilty which would mean he's removed from the political scene ( but then in this crazy country ?? who knows ) I wonder how his legal team sleep at night .. ??? with such an overwhelming amount of smoke indicating that there is indeed a huge fire beneath all the crap and legal dodging ... they must in their hearts that he is indeed corrupt and a person of low moral standards ??? lets pray the legal system works ..
The sad thing is...... due to the courts taking soooo long with cases, this man will be sworn in as president, then go to court, and mark my words, those narrow minded uneducated masses, are gonna protest and get violent , irrespective of how guilty this guy is.... thats why there is no democracy in Africa, coz the uneducated masses get told who to vote for.......
I agree with you Sandy, What I like is it is also getting International recognision. But can be very interesting how the whole saga pans out. Justice will be Justice!!!
Sad part is one must just see the so called " educated " members of the ANC .. muttering and saying .. hes being persecuted not prosecuted .. seems the concourt and the judicary are fine so long as they say what they deem to be right or to bring down some old " apartheid criminal " .. not what is actually right that is that the man to all appearances has an overwhelming amount of evidence stacked up against him .. In the words of my Mom when people spoke a load of unjustigeid crap " I just want to tie them in a chair and knock some common sense into them with a big plank "
It's easier for them to toe the line and shut up, not to talk out against JZ, in their own interest........ kinda like Hitler all over again,. a'la Africa style.....
shutface
Right now I imagine my Moms spinning around in her memorial rose garden .. seeing all thats going on ..
Mind you, I saw a program on BBC the other night about a company called Halliburton and the Bush connections through it with Iraq, and the corruption involved is enormous.,.... and there is a federal gag order in place in the states, so nobody can do anything about it....Corruption of the highest order.....in a first world state, what about Siemens in Germany?
Human Nature, Black or White I guess....
Read an article in the papers the other day that supporters of JZ said that he will be President even if he has to rule the country from a jail cell. Sends chills down the spine. Scary stuff.
When I refered to my Mom churning up her memorial rose garden .. part of the story ...
After my dad passed away Mom had at a relatively young age of 55 a second stab at life .. a rekindling of a romance that led to marriage .. an opportunity to review her life .. and to choose a new angle of approach .. she opted to become part of the "struggle " and why not ?? .. 3/4 of UCT where doing it so why could she not do it in her granted " second teenage " ?? it was her God given right ,, she had raised a family and was now a free agent ?? not that it did not have a cost .. she was ostracised for many years by closest family .. barring me and my sis in law and a few good friends that stood by her .. she suffered a lot of personal pain for her choice .. BUT yes I believe she was right in her choice .. she had a new life with purpose ,adventure and JOY ... the previous " regime " was as oppressive as where the new one is headed .. she put her personal safety at risk vis , she could have been arrested at any time for breaking the then laws , me too for being there in the midddle of it .. our phones were tapped etc and yes we were " watched ' she lost her shoes and nearly her life in the demonstration of the purple rain in the 80's but remained resolute .. all the while i stood by her giving common sense cos when one is immersed in fighting injustice ones views get slanted .. i was her mirror .. for that she appreciated me .. I have been told that in so many unsaid ways ...
Without going into too much detail .. Mother and Eddie who had spent 15 years on robben eiland for his activities believed that there would exist after 1994 an equal and equitable society with a place in the sun for all .. well that dream my Mom saw crumbling before her demise .. and Eddie has painfully seen since his surviving her .. he is avoided by all barring the old man Madiba and a few of the honourable old stalwarts who he still has contact with .. He wont in too many words describe his disgust at the free for all he sees but I see and sense it ... now we have presidents that will rule from their jail cells ???
