Those terrible appie initiations
Usually a hot windy afternoon. Terrified. The ou manne would give you a bottle of the cheapest and lousiest red wine available. Told that if you downed the bottle in under a minute you would not get a second bottle and your hair would not be shaved off. Problem was that after the first bottle you were so sick that you did not know what was happening and you were given a second bottle to down was shaved off in patches. One character got so drunk that he started punching the walls of the drycleaning building in the single quarters. Charlie Badenhorst had his hair cut down the sides similar to a mohican indian. Then it was off to the swimming pool for fun and games and near drownings. In the evening you were forced to go to the movies without a cap so that the locals could have a good laugh at you.
