On the 20 and 21 September 2008 the Africa Aerospace Show was held in Cape Town again.
We went on Saturday afternoon.
Here are some shots of the afternoon show...the aerobatic team flying the Boeing 737 were most impressive what they did with the planes... a lady from Bothasig phoned in to tell Ysterplaat that a Boeing was having trouble and was being towed in by another?
Kan jy dit gloo!
And some more.....
And more.....
En nog meer....
Ja nee....nog meer!!!
And the last!!
Hi Richard
Nice pics, having fun with your new cam ?? !!
Thanks George!
Yes it is nice not having a "mik-en-druk" (Afrikaans) or as they say in English - "aim-and-shoot".
Do not get me wrong the digital cameras you buy today are good, but still limited.
It is much better if you have more control of the camera.
Keep well up there in Germany - what is the weather like up there now?
Had good weather when I was up there in June attending the Drupa Show in Dusseldorf.
Hi Richard
The weather was sh...t the last week, at the moment temp. is rising again, i measured 19° today, that could still become a golden Octobre
Snow starting in altitude 1.000 m
The cam you have has dozens of possibilities also to do everything manual, so dont complaint....
If you want to go for very high quality, try the RAW function, a bit more work however editing
The pictures are never better then the Lens that is used, a real good lens costs a fortune 2.000 € and more.....
