My father, Peter Rauh, started the clay pigeon club in the early 70's. I think it was around '72? The quality of the pics are not too great - has been in a photo album since forever, but hope you enjoy.

Thanks for the memories, Erica. I only remember one guy from the clay pidgeon club, Fanie Aggenbag (spelling?). We were still youngsters then, and used to loiter around the gun club on Sundays to collect dropped shotgun shells and unbroken clay pidgeons. The gunpowder from the shotgun shells gave our matchbox bombs a bit of voema and the adults were none the wiser.
Dankie Erika vir die fotos. Ek is al so lank opsoek na fotos van my pa en die Gun Club, maar niemand kan my help nie. Dit is ironies dat al die fotos wat by die Gun Club op was net verdwyn het en niemand weet wat daarvan geword het nie.
Ek is besig om 'n famielie album van my ouers bymekaar te maak en die Gun Club was 'n groot deel van my pa se lewe.
As daar enige oud Oranjemunders is wat enige fotos, artikels of Newsletters het van Boetie Groenewald en die Clan, voeg dit asseblief op hierdie topic of email dit vir my. Ek sal dit baie waardeer.
