Title: Christmas in foriegn countries
Post by: georg ruf jr. on December 07, 2008, 08:25:15 PM
I thought it might be great again, to see what you guys are all doing during the season.
In Germany we al travel to different "Weihnachtsmaerkte" (Xmasbazars).
These were taken this evening in Speyer. A town famous for its Cathedral. Here lie several German kings....
1. Seeing the bazar in a whole.
2. This crib cost 350 Euro without the figures in it.
3. Gluehwein not glue-wine. Careful, there's a difference.
4. You can see the church in the backround.

Yes Gluhwein .. ideal for  the cold  weather you experiencing ... just go careful with it ..  has a silent kick ..especially if  as some do they fortify it with some port  ...  cat3

Christmas in Germany always special.....seen many family photo's of the occasion and never fails to impress. As for the cribs and little figures stunning. My Aunt still decorates her place with the many german christmas nik naks and figures she has collected over the years, always special. She has a whole town (wooden) with carol singers, xmas tree, santa, snow, angles floating above and this all turns by the smoke of candles that turn a propeller thing on the church steeple. I realy must experience a christmas in you coumtry before I leave this earth for the big party academy in the sky.
