absolutely bizarre these beautiful old buildings decaying out there in the middle of nowhere. These buildings probably date from 1948 which was the end of the '2nd phase' of mining operations at Elizabucht Bay. Such solid German designs. Look at the intricate woodwork on the doors and window frames. Some of these buildings have lovely proportions.

Great pics of Elizabeth BAY Mike. Wouldn't mind a copy of powerpoint presentation disk if available. Have a bit on the history of diamond mining in the area if you think it might be of interest
