Well, my dear Michele went off to her baby shower on Saturday afternoon, I lit the fire , poured a wee whisky and Stennie came around........ The my neighbour Chris Smit turned up with a log for the fire and a coolbox..... His wife had also deserted him for a Baby shower...... he heard the music and came over..... a few good pots later.... the gate opened and in walked the other neighbour, one Jack Wasserfal, his wife had also gone to the said baby shower.... he was alone...... he had gone to Chris 's house and heard the music..... SO there we were Stennie, Chris, Jack and a Mike..... having a few good pots..... the sun sank behind the tree;s to the west, the music got louder, the bottle of whisky dropped a level or two...... the beer cans filled the bin..... The kids got fed, the meat braai'd..... then the logs got piled on the fire and the blaze started.... the wifes returned for a cuppa in the kitchen... doors got closed..... fingers got pointed and the men were warned not to stay late...... but just as the BELLS toiled at the last drop..... Stennie organised a WHITE HORSE...... a really large white horse...... we were heading for a rough evening, horses and bells n' all......... out came the grape mampoer...... party trick on the fire...... flames everywhere....... Wow! it was a really pleasant night..... but Stennie should come and fetch his White Horse......

My good wife has told me that I have to phone me braai mate Stennie and tell him to come and collect his horse... before it causes some serious damage...
It's a good thing we could'nt find straws last night, otherwise that bottle might have seen it's arse....
You could always hide the bottle in the cake with me.............
wish i could have an unplanned braai here......started snowing earlier on.....Everything here has to be planned and even thhen the weather is unpredictable

Unplanned .. so much fun... excepting the morning after .. we did one on friday evening .. nice weather .. braai chat .. decked too much red wine and saturday was a quite day ,, ouch !!
