The dawn of my mate, Mike Stenson's 50th Birthday in Oranjemund, got me to thinking how many old timers are still here, residing in good 'ol Oranjemund, especially now that people are leaving en masse...... If you have lived longer than 30 years in Oranjemund AND still live here,or know people who fall into this category...add the names....

Wow, above still living in Oranjemund after all these years?! They obviously know what's really good for them: carefree, beautiful Oranjemund. Tell you, stay in Oranjemund, cities are not better, contrary to popular believe.

Would love to drop the following people an email: Andre/Liesel Bezuidenhout (nee Fourie), Liesel's brother Egon, Eugene Marais, Anton Burden. If they are on this board, they can reach me via my profile email. Anton Burden's sister, Debbie Burden, was/is red winemaker at Simonsig and won the Woman Winemaker of the Year a few years ago in Stellenbosch for her beautiful Simonsig "Redhill" Pinotage.

I assume Adriaan van Rooyen had a younger brother Francois? Francois was friends with my brother Louwtjie.

Hi Charl,ek gebruik sommer Mike se password,hier by Spar,lekker om van jou te hoor,en ja my jongste broer is Francois en hy bly in Table view,en het sy eie elektriese besigheid,ek is getroud met Hannes pieterse se suster 25 JR AL,en Hannes is nou woonagtig in Londen vir die laaste 10 jaar al.Maar ek gesels later stuur groete an almal wat ek ken.... Up-out
