Does any body remember my family? My dad was Gert and my mom Sannie. We were 4 sisters Susan, Elsie, Ria and myself. My brothers are Gys and FRik. WE left Oranjemund in1971 when my dad died.

@ Gerda - Yes, people do remember you! My Dad knew your Dad, he said that he remembers him as someone who always did a job quickly, with a lot of energy, and that it was difficult to keep up with him! He had a twin?

Yes this is my sister Susan. Bertie your dad is correct.... thats my dad and yes he had a twin brother. Yip Elsie and Ria did go to school in Karasburg. Good to know we are not forgotten.

Thanks Mavis. This is great to have. I will pass it onto my sisters. Ria is well and also lives in Randfontein. Elsie is in Stilfontein. My mom, now 81 stays with her.

no i did not go to school but i work i got a lift to karasburg

Ek is Ria Cloete Susan se suster, sy woon tans in Stilfontein so ook Elsie en my Ma.
Ek en Gerda bly in Randfontein en my broers, Frik in Krugersdorp en Gys in Thabazimbi.

Bly om te sien die mense onthou ons darem nog.

Hi Gerda, toe ek die foto sien van jou suster, onmiddelik onthou ek julle. Die van het altyd my gepla want dit was so bekend. Ek is baie bly om van julle te hoor.

Yes thats us. Myself, Ria , Elsie and Susan has just returned from a visit in Oranjemund. The 4 sisters had a ball. Will post some Pics on the forum soon.

How are you keeping? where in Gauteng are you? Hope Gerda will posts those pic's quick. We really had a ball that is no lie. Just wish my brothers could go with us.
