Title: Neville Rasmussen
Post by: Leon Sumter on February 22, 2009, 11:41:56 AM
whilst not an Oranjemunder he nevertheless paid many business visits to OMD in the late 60's early seventies.
Who of you can remember Neville and what the nature of his visits were. This is a tough one.

right let me put you all out of your misery. Neville worked for NOSA and used to visit CDM quite often to do NOSA checkups. Some of the old mining foremen and operators may remember Neville.

Hi Leon

Small world... albeit not Neville himself but his daughter. My wife was at high school with her and are still very good friends. She came to stay with us in Omund earlier this year and and plans to again in December. It was her first visit here and now able to picture some of the scenes her dad may have told the family about of this unique town. In conversation she said that Neville used to come to Omund for the NOSA audits.

Cool stuff.
